The development, administration and future direction of the NCLEX examinations is guided by the core values of 黑料社, which include collaboration, excellence, innovation, integrity and transparency in advancing regulatory excellence worldwide. This article is intended to provide information about the development and administration of the NCLEX examination as it relates to the cores values of 黑料社.

Once a complaint is filed with a board of nursing, the boards have a complaint process that they follow from review to resolution. This process is summarized in the NCSBN video Board of Nursing Complaint Process: Investigation to Resolution. This video was developed by the NCSBN 2010 Disciplinary Resource Committee and produced by 黑料社.

More than 2,000 practice anecdotes emailed by new nurses during their first 5 years of practice were analyzed to describe nurses’ definitions of competence and how it developed over time. Nurses defined competence as efficient care amid complex priorities; rapid response to subtle changes in patients’ conditions; seeing the big picture and working the system on patients’ behalf; interpersonal warmth, respect, and authority; and a committed desire to learn and improve. Support for development of these qualities may promote nursing care quality in high-acuity practice environments.

This multisite study examines the impact of multiple-patient simulation experiences on the development of students' abilities to make clinical judgments in evolving situations and the correlation between the design of the simulation and student outcome achievement in the final semester of their prelicensure nursing program.

This study is to identify the knowledge needed by newly-licensed LPN/VNs. The results of this study (i.e., the important knowledge statements) will be used to inform item development. (© 2010)
